At Exo Yvoir, we’re more than just a brand – we’re a celebration of our heritage, our roots, and the authentic flavors that define us as Ivorians. Our name, Exo Yvoir, comes from the French term Exotique Ivoire, meaning "Exotic Ivory Coast." This name reflects not only our deep connection to our homeland but also our mission to bring the vibrant flavors of Ivory Coast to the world – and maybe make you wonder why you didn’t discover us sooner.
We are a group of passionate Ivorians, now living in the United States, who share a common love for Attieke – the beloved, essential part of Ivorian cuisine. However, we quickly realized how difficult it was to find fresh, high-quality Attieke in the U.S. that met our standards. Most options either looked like they’d been through a time machine or lacked the rich, authentic taste and texture we cherished.
This challenge wasn’t just ours – we soon discovered that many in our community shared the same frustration. We knew we had to change that. So, we made the pilgrimage back to Ivory Coast, where we personally visited trusted cassava farmers, forged relationships, and got our hands a little (okay, a lot) dirty to ensure that we’d be bringing back only the finest Attieke.
Our Attieke is crafted from hand-selected cassava roots, ensuring only the best make it into every batch. It's then processed in an FDA-registered food facility, where hygiene and safety are never compromised. We believe in providing quality you can taste and trust – and we promise, there’s no room for anything less.
Exo Yvoir was born out of love for our culture, our people, and a deep desire to share the true taste of Ivory Coast. Because we know that food isn’t just about filling your stomach – it’s about connecting with home, family, and the traditions that make us who we are.
